Цели: тренировка лексических навыков и навыков аудирования; совершенствование навыков чтения по теме «Лондон»; тренировка орфографических навыков.

Оборудование: игрушечный телефон; карточки с заданием по теме «Фразовый глагол to take» по количеству учащихся; картинки по теме «Лондон».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— I am fine, thank you. Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.)

It’s time to say “Hello!” (Hello!)

It’s time to say “Hello!” (Hello!)

It’s time to say “Hello!” (Hello!)

And start our lesson.

— Sit down, please.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

— Let’s remember our poem about three little monkeys.

Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,

(Дети постукивают кончиками трех пальцев по ладони правой руки.)

One fell off and bumped his head.

(Дети прижимают один палеи к ладони, убирают его, прикладывают к голове, показывая, что ушибли ее.)

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,

(Дети набирают номер телефона и прикладывают трубку к уху.)

“No more little monkeys jumping on that bed.”

(Дети делают ритмичные движения указательным пальцем из стороны в сторону.)

Игра «Испорченный телефон»

Now we shall play.

(Один из учеников рассказывает, остальные переспрашивают.)

Примерный ход игры:

— I want to visit Great Britain.

— Do you want to visit France?

— No, I don’t. I want to visit America. I learn English.

— Do you learn German?

— No, I don’t. I don’t learn German. I am looking at the picture of Big Ben now.

— Are you looking at the picture of the Tower of London?

— No, I am not. I am not looking at the picture of the Tower of London. I like to read books about places of interest in the capital of Great Britain.

— Do you like to read books about the places of interest in Africa?

— No, I don’t. Etc.

IV. Актуализация знаний

1. Работа в группах

— I want you to open your exercise books and look at the blackboard. The task for you is to put the letters in these words in the right order. You will work in groups of three.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на слова, заранее записанные на доске. Ученики делятся на группы по три человека, расставляют буквы в правильном порядке и записывают получившиеся слова.)

1. Работа с текстами (аудирование)

— You can see the pictures of some places in London on the blackboard. Can you name them? Listen to my stories and choose the picture.

(Учитель предлагает учащимся прослушать четыре текста и угадать различные достопримечательности Лондона.)

1. It is very old. It has a long and cruel history. You can see it from the river Thames. It is not just one building. Many years ago the Kings and the Queens of Britain lived in this place. (The Tower of London.)

2. It stands near the Houses of Parliament. It is really a bell. It weighs 13 720 kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio. It is a famous clock. (Big Ben.)

3. It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. It is a symbol of England. It was founded by St Peter and built by King Edward in 1065. Some famous people are buried there. (Westminster Abbey.)

4. They stand beside the river Thames. You can also see them from Westminster Abbey. The country’s leaders speak at this place. The famous clock Big Ben stands near them. (The Houses of Parliament.)

Упр. 42 (с. 99).

— Open your books on page 99, exercise 42. You’ll listen to the dialogue and complete the sentences. You can see the first letters of the missing words.

(Ученики прослушивают диалог и вписывают в предложения пропущенные слова. Проверка осуществляется в парах следующим образом: ученики по очереди зачитывают предложения и переводят пропущенные слова.)

Упр. 43, 44 (с. 100).

— Read the task of exercise 43 on page 100. Let’s put the boxes in the letter. You’ll have two minutes to do the task.

(Учащиеся самостоятельно в течение двух минут вставляют пропущенные словосочетания в письмо из упр. 43. Затем дети зачитывают его вслух, после чего в устной форме выполняют упр. 44.)

— That’s all we have time for. Thank you for your work. Stand up, please.
