Цели: развитие лексических навыков по теме «Хобби»; закрепление навыков устной речи и чтения; тренировка грамматических навыков.

Оборудование: карточки с транскрипционными значками, картинки для введения лексики по теме «Хобби».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

Good morning, boys and girls!

Good morning now.

Wake, body, wake, mind!

Work, play, seek, find,

Eat breakfast, dinner too,

II. Фонетическая зарядка

— Let’s practise the English sounds. I shall show you the symbols of the English sounds and the task for you is to pronounce this sound and name three words with it on the topic “Pets”. Remember the English words and get ready to start.

• [i:]. (Feed, please, teach.)

• [ı]. (Fish, kitten, give.)

• [p]. (Puppy, parrot, play.)

• [f]. (Fish, feed, for, five.)

• [w], (Walk, wash, water.)

• [æ]. (Catch, cat, black.)

• [k]. (Clever, kind, talk, take.)

III. Речевая разминка

Игра «Угадай»

— The next game to play is the game “Guess”. One pupil will go to the blackboard and think of the name of the pet. We shall try to guess the word. If you guess it you will go to the blackboard and think of another word.

(Один ученик выходит к доске и загадывает название домашнего животного, не произнося его вслух. Остальные пытаются угадать данное слово и задают вопросы водящему. Угадавший загадывает следующее слово. Учитель обращает внимание учащихся на то, что нельзя задавать прямые вопросы в начале диалога.)

Примерный ход игры:

— Is it big or little?

— It is little.

— Can it climb?

— No, it can't.

— Is your pet nice?

— Yes, it is.

— Can it swim?

— Yes, it can swim very well.

— Is it a fish?

— Yes, it is.

IV. Работа по теме урока

1. Введение новой лексики. Работа по учебнику

Упр. 57 (с. 155).

— I want you to open your textbooks on page 155, exercise 57. Look at the pictures and say what children prefer to do if you have free time.

(Дети выполняют задание. Учитель может использовать дополнительные картинки по теме «Хобби» и предложить детям ответить на вопросы по их содержанию.)

— Do you like to play volleyball?

— Does your mother like to cook?

— Who likes to watch TV in your family?

— Can you swim? Do you go to the swimming pool every week?

— Do you usually go for a walk in the evening? Etc.

— Today we shall remember some words on the topic “Free Time”. Look at the blackboard, please. Can you read the words?

Слова на доске:

Useful, to be fond of, club, gardening, to take photos, model, plane, travelling, collect, to go by bike, no use, dull, hobby.

(Учитель обращает внимание учащихся на слова, заранее записанные на доске с транскрипцией. Перевод данных слов осуществляется с помощью картинок и языковой догадки.)

2. Игра «Снежный ком»

— Now we know the names of different hobbies. Let’s play the game “Snowball”. We shall use the names of different hobbies. The first pupil will think of one word, the second pupil will repeat it and add another word, the next pupil will repeat two words and say one more. The winner is the pupil who will repeat the chain of all the words on the topic “Free Time”.

Примерный ход игры:

— Dancing;

— Dancing and gardening;

— Dancing, gardening and reading;

— Dancing, gardening, reading and music. Etc.

Работа но учебнику

Упр. 58 (с. 155).

— It is interesting to find out what your classmates like to do. Let’s read the names of different hobbies in exercise 58 on page 155. You will ask your friends and then tell us about their hobbies.

(Для выполнения задания учащиеся делятся на группы по пять человек. Сначала дети работают в течение трех минут, а затем составляют высказывания о членах своей группы.)

Упр. 59 (с. 155).

(Устное выполнение.)

Упр. 60, 61 (с. 156).

— Now we know what your friends like to do in their free time. Let’s read the story about a strange hobby in your textbooks on page 156, exercise 60. Who wants to read the task? You will read this information to yourself and then answer the question before the text.

(Ученики сначала читают про себя текст из упр. 60 и отвечают на приведенный в задании вопрос, затем читают рассказ вслух и выполняют упр. 61.)
