Цели: контроль навыков выразительного чтения стихотворений; ознакомление учащихся с разделительными вопросами (tag questions); актуализация грамматических навыков.

Оборудование: мяч для игры.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I’m glad to see you! (We are glad to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— I’m fine, thank you. Who is absent today? (Nobody is absent.)

— Sit down, please. Today we will have a talk about tag questions, we will learn how to use them in the speech, how to ask and answer them.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

Игра «Сыщик»

— One of you will be a detective. He (she) comes out of the classroom and we decide what thing he (she) must find here. Then he (she) will come in and ask us the tag questions about the thing you can see in the classroom.

Примерный ход игры:

— May I come in? (Yes, you may.)

— It is a toy, isn’t it? (No, it is not.)

— I can’t see it on my desk, can I? (Yes, you can.)

— It is not small, isn’t it? (No, it is not.)

— It is black, isn’t it? (Yes, it is.)

— We usually write on it, don’t we? (Yes, we do.)

— It is a blackboard, isn’t it? (Yes, it is.)

III. Речевая разминка

Игра с мячом

— We shall play an interesting game. Let’s make a circle. I will pronounce the sentence and throw the ball to one of you. Your task is to ask me different questions. For example, I’ll say, “I have an apple” and you will ask me, “Do you have an apple?”, “Do you have an apple or an orange?” and other questions.

(Учитель произносит утвердительное предложение и кидает мячик любому из учеников. Учащиеся должны задать специальный, альтернативный или общий вопросы.)

IV. Проверка домашнего задания

Работа в группах

— It’s time to check up your homework. You will have three minutes to recite the poems in groups and then we shall listen to your poems.

— Your time is up. Who wants to be the first? Listen to the poems carefully and help me to choose the best one.

(Дети читают наизусть стихотворение из упр. 111 в группах в течение трех минут, а затем по очереди рассказывают его перед классом. Остальные внимательно слушают и выбирают лучшего чтеца.)

Ознакомление с разделительными вопросами. Работа по учебнику

— Look at the blackboard, please. There are some questions on it. Let’s read them.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на доску, где записаны разделительные вопросы, например: I can’t drive the car, can I? Учащиеся по очереди читают и переводят их.)

Упр. 114 (с. 34).

— Did you notice anything special in English grammar learning and playing the dialogues? There were tag questions in the talk. The British people often use them. I want you to use them too, that’s why let’s read the “Grammar Focus” on page 34.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на то, что англичане часто прибегают к разделительным вопросам для поддержания беседы. После этого ученики про себя, а затем вслух по очереди читают и разбирают с помощью учителя рубрику “Grammar Focus”.)

Упр. 115 (с. 35).

— Now, children, let’s practise asking tag questions. We shall do exercise 115 on page 35. Look through the answers and make up the questions.

— Who wants to read the tag questions aloud?

(Дети в течение четырех минут составляют возможные варианты вопросов, а затем зачитывают их.)

— Well, children, we have just tried to ask some tag questions. It’s time to read the rule on page 35.

(Учитель просит одного из учеников прочесть правило из упр. 116, а затем дает к нему краткий комментарий.)

Упр. 117 (с. 35).

— Let’s do exercise 117 on page 35.

(Самостоятельное выполнение. Проверка осуществляется следующим образом: учащиеся по очереди зачитывают вопросы вслух. Учитель исправляет ошибки и дает краткие комментарии при затруднениях.)
